Nicki Minaj Goes On Twitter War With Spotify, Spotify 'Teaches Her A Lesson'
This week, Nicki Minaj’s new album Queen debuted at No. 2 on the charts, following Travis Scott’s Astroworld at No. 1. She took to Twitter to accuse Travis of altering his numbers through ticket bundles, and accused the streaming platform of treating her unfairly.

But Spotify issued a statement responding to Nicki’s Twitter rant, and it says:
Spotify supported Nicki Minaj with a Times Square billboard, a host of the largest playlists, New Music Friday and the new music release shelf,” the rep said. “Her song ‘Bed’ actually saw an increase based on the promotions put behind the campaign. The company continues to be big fans of Nicki.
